Responsibilities
- Manage the escrow process from initiation to closing, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
- Review and prepare escrow documents, including contracts and closing statements.
- Coordinate with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, and lenders throughout the transaction process.
- Disburse funds according to the terms of the escrow agreement upon closing.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications related to each escrow account.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple files simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with clients and stakeholders throughout the transaction process.
- Basic math skills for accurate calculations related to closing costs and disbursements.
- Familiarity with loan processing and mortgage servicing is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
