We have an exciting job opening in our Internal Medicine/Pediatric clinic located in Covina, CA in the Greater Los Angeles area. Mayflower Medical Group is seeking an experienced Office Manager who is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations for the Family Practice and Pediatric at same facility. Ensuring efficient and effective operations and coordinating all issues affecting the daily operations of the site including staffing and scheduling of staff; ensuring the company and office policies and procedures are followed; holding all staff accountable to a patient centered culture; ensuring that the organizations goals and objectives are met.
The Office Manager works closely with the Senior Manager under minimal supervision of their Administrator. Proof of Covid 19 vaccination is required.
Essential Job Function:
- Direct and oversee daily site operations, establishing and maintaining a consistent communication system between all departments.
- Maintain a regular, visible presence in each department under his/her direction; Ensures that patients experience is positive.
- Organizes and supervises all office staff including scheduling, discipline, performance reviews, etc., in a manner consistent with company policies
- Acts as the liaison between staff and physicians
- Establishes clinic practices for compliance with OSHA standards
- Oversees front and back office functions to ensure adherence to company and clinic policies and procedures
- Develops and monitors effective patient flow and patient satisfaction systems
- Actively participates in periodic management meetings, offers constructive solutions and recognizes potential problems
EXPERIENCE / TRAINING:
Clinical setting; three to five years’ experience managing a medical office; experience building and motivating a team to accomplish desired goals.
Requires excellent managerial skills including organizational and communication skills; ability to handle multiple projects while being mindful of priorities and deadlines; strong attention to detail; ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information; ability to maintain professional demeanor when dealing with employees, providers, and patients.
Must have Pediatric and Family Practice experience as a Manager.
