Seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic medical office team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operation of our office.
Responsibilities:
- Check-in patients, verify personal and insurance information, and accurately enter data into the electronic health records (EHR) system.
- Schedule appointments, coordinate calendars, and manage patient flow to minimize wait times and ensure efficient clinic operations.
- Answer phone calls, address inquiries, and provide information to patients, healthcare professionals.
- Assist with insurance verification and claims processing.
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers and schedule follow-up appointments as necessary.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.
Qualification:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable in learning/using electronic health records (EHR) systems and medical software.
- Good communication skills, bilingual in English & Chinese is required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance procedures is desirable.
