Through the application of various finishing techniques, the Finish Technician addresses any imperfections and enhances the products appearance. This position role requires a strong eye for detail, technical skills and the ability to work with others to maintain a seamless productions process. Finish Technicians are responsible for documenting their work, maintaining tools and upholding high standards of safety and cleanliness in their work environment. tools and inventory used across the facility, ensuring that all resources are available, well-maintained, and efficiently utilized. Knowledge and Qualifications Required
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, reporting any malfunctions as necessary.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to the finishing process.
