The Birmingham, AL office of Maynard Nexsen, a full-service law firm with more than 550 attorneys across 24 offices nationwide, seeks an Associate with 2-5years’ experience to assist its growing Securities Litigation Team.

- We are looking for a dynamic junior to mid-level associate with litigation experience to join our practice. Preferred candidate would have 2 to 5 years of experience in all facets of litigation including managing discovery matters and performing critical legal research. Financial services litigation experience is a plus.
- Ideal candidate is interested in becoming a well-trained trial lawyer capable of handling matters as first-chair. They must have strong problem-solving, communication, and writing skills, a willingness to argue motions and take witnesses, a desire to assume immediate responsibility for matters, and strong interpersonal skills to work with a diverse team. The practice group offers excellent growth opportunities for proactive lawyers.
