What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Front Office Receptionist and Phones position at Maynor & Mitchell Eye Center?

Front Office Receptionist/Phones/Billing needed for a busy medical office. The duties include, but are not limited to handling busy phones, patient contact, scheduling appointments, patient check-in and check-out, medical records, posting charges and payments, insurance eligibility, and other data entry.

  • Must be organized, multi-task oriented, energetic and possess a positive, professional attitude
  • Outstanding telephone, secretarial, communication and computer skills
  • Problem solver, analytical skills
  • Personable, empathetic with patient’s needs and concerns
  • Well-organized with attention to detail

  • Ability to work as a team member
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
