Final Finisher (Pack and Wrap)

Responsibilities:

· Receives upholstered goods at the end of the upholstery lines

· Wrap and package sofas, chairs, recliners, ottomans, head boards, sectionals, and any furniture pieces in preparation for shipping

· Assemble and disassemble pieces, such as legs and attachments as needed

· Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages, as needed

· Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes, as needed.

· Perform all duties according to schedule

· Notify supervisor or lead person of any mechanical or material issues, as well as notify them of any other problems

· Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as necessary

· Control waste of supplies

· Keep work organized

· Maintain a clean and safe work area

· Performs work as assigned by department supervisor

· Must be able to work as part of a team

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or GED preferred

· Prefer a minimum of 1 year factory related experience (or equivalent experience and/or skill level)

Salary Range:

$10.95 - $11.95 per hour

Schedule:

Hours for all production positions are generally 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Friday and Saturday may be required.

Skills/Abilities:

· Must be able to reposition objects (furniture) of varying shapes and sizes, weighing more than 50 lbs. either individually, aided by available hardware, or as a team

· Regularly required to sit or stand, reach and move around furniture and the facility for long periods of time throughout shift
