The Website Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing all aspects of our Salesforce Commerce Cloud eCommerce site. This role combines technical development with website management, including overseeing design, user experience, performance, and integration with back-end systems. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), experience in the eCommerce lifecycle, and the ability to lead both strategic and hands-on projects.
Website Management & Performance:
- Oversee front-end functionality, design enhancements, and content updates to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Monitor site performance, security, and uptime, addressing issues proactively to maintain optimal functionality.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to implement seasonal campaigns, product launches, and promotions.
Solution Design & Architecture:
- Design scalable and robust Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) solutions to meet evolving business needs.
- Integrate SFCC with other Salesforce products (e.g., Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud) and third-party platforms.
- Lead the development and deployment of features that enhance the customer journey and site usability.
Development & Customization:
- Develop and maintain custom front- and back-end features, integrations, and APIs.
- Implement and optimize core eCommerce features such as product catalogs, pricing, personalization, and analytics.
- Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices and coding standards.
Team Collaboration & Leadership:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align website strategies with business goals.
- Provide mentorship to junior developers and other team members working on eCommerce initiatives.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement customer-centric site enhancements.
Innovation & Optimization:
- Stay up to date with Salesforce Commerce Cloud releases and eCommerce industry trends.
- Recommend and implement new tools and practices to optimize site functionality and conversion rates.
- Analyze user behavior and site analytics to identify opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 2 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFRA required).
- Proven expertise in front- and back-end website management within the eCommerce space.
- Familiarity with the household goods or consumer goods industry is a plus.
- Proficiency in SFCC development, architecture, and integrations.
- Understanding of JavaScript, Node.js, HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (e.g., Git), and website performance tools.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles, analytics tools, and website optimization techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive, collaborative, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Salesforce certifications such as B2C Commerce Developer or Architect.
- Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and hosting environments.
- Familiarity with design tools and workflows (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD).
