Responsibilities
- Ensures work area is clean and clear of safety hazards
- Promotes safe work practices and environment with himself/herself and those near the work area
- Uses specified PPE
- Maintains equipment per the established procedures and policies
- Sets up milling center in accordance with training and process documentation
- Completes product inspections and assures quality in accordance with the established processes
- Machines product as per the department schedule or supervisor's directives
- Ensures machine is functioning properly and produces quality product
- Maintains machining tools
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or three to six months experience and/or training; or equivalent combination is preferred.
- CNC experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to train and work with others (Team Concept).
