The Specialty Ropes Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the wire ropes division, ensuring that the inside sales team and inventory management processes are optimized for efficiency and profitability. Sales Support:
- Lead and manage the inside sales team, ensuring that sales processes are efficient and effective.
- Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members to enhance performance.
- Monitor sales metrics and adjust strategies as needed to achieve division goals.
Inventory Management:
- Work closely with coordinators to ensure inventory levels are accurately maintained and managed.
- Implement strategies to optimize stock levels, reducing excess inventory while preventing shortages.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to forecast inventory needs based on sales trends and market demands.
Safety and Quality Control:
- Ensure that all safety and quality control processes are in place and rigorously followed by all team members.
- Regularly review safety protocols and conduct training sessions to maintain a safe working environment.
- Monitor product quality to ensure that all wire ropes meet industry standards and customer expectations.
Financial Management:
- Manage the profitability of the wire ropes division by closely monitoring operating profits, material margins, and asset management.

- Work with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and budget adherence.
Customer Communication and Satisfaction:

Education
A high school diploma or GED is required; an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university is preferred with a focus in Business Administration, Sales, Economics, Marketing, or related discipline; in the absence of a degree, directly related job experience serving in an industrial sales role, where several years and proven knowledge may offset the degree requirement
