JOB SUMMARY
The Marketing Manager at MBA Roofing is responsible for developing, executing, and overseeing the company's comprehensive marketing strategy. This role involves creating and managing annual marketing plans and budgets, strategizing and executing event sponsorships, and driving customer experience enhancements. The Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with sales, business development, and executive teams to ensure marketing efforts align with company goals and drive revenue growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing Strategy and Planning:
- Develop an annual marketing plan and budget in collaboration with key stakeholders, including the Marketing Content Specialist, Business Development Coordinator, Sales Manager, and Chief of Staff.
- Execute the marketing plan and update it quarterly based on market and business priorities.
Event and Sponsorship Management:
- Create and implement a strategy for company participation in major local and regional events and sponsorships.
- Plan and execute community events sponsored by MBA Roofing to engage and provide services to the community.
- Attend networking events and actively participate in business development relationships.
- Attend sponsored events throughout the year.
- Purchase and maintain an inventory of promotional items.
Promotional Activities:
- Create and manage promotional and discount programs to generate leads for specific products or services
Customer Experience and Journey:
- Own the customer experience and journey, making updates or changes as needed to enhance or maintain customer experience standards.
- Manage and improve the customer referral and internal referral programs.
Team Management:
- Oversee the Senior Marketing Content Specialist and Business Development Coordinator, assigning tasks and projects to ensure alignment with marketing strategy and company goals.
- Support the professional development of team members to grow within their roles and within MBA Roofing.
Digital Marketing and Website Management:
- Oversee and influence the digital marketing strategy creation and execution.
- Ensure the website experience and content, managed by the Senior Marketing Content Specialist, aligns with the overall marketing strategy.
Continuous Improvement:
- Constantly seek ways to improve and enhance marketing efficiency through AI integration and automation.
- Evaluate lead sources to determine their value and decide where to focus resources to maximize the profitability of marketing efforts.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
- 6-8 years of experience in marketing management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role. *Experience in the roofing or construction industry is a plus.
Marketing Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of marketing principles, strategies, and best practices.
- Proven success in developing and executing marketing plans and campaigns.
- Experience in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
Leadership and Team Management:
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience in managing and developing a marketing team.
- Ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve their full potential.
