MBF Bioscience is seeking a Light Sheet Support Specialist to join our dedicated team! In this role, you’ll have the unique opportunity to interact with and support some of the world’s top neuroscientists, helping them advance scientific knowledge through our innovative microscopy image analysis software and computer-controlled microscope systems.
Responsibilities
Technical Support:
- Install and service our products with primary focus on SLICE, MBF’s Light Sheet Microscopy system
- Provide remote and on-site technical support for MBF SLICE customers
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently
Customer Training:
- Conduct comprehensive training sessions for BrightSlice software and SLICE hardware
- Assist researchers in study design, analysis pipelines, and parameter optimization
Field Work:
- Travel to customer sites primarily within the United States for equipment installations and trainings.
Documentation:
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and technical support cases
- Contribute to internal knowledge base and procedural updates
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in biology, neuroscience, or a related technical field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely
- Experience with light sheet fluorescent microscopy (selective plane illumination microscopy) and clear tissue sample preparation is highly valued
- Proficiency with other software-controlled fluorescent microscope systems is a plus
- Knowledge of installing and troubleshooting computer peripherals is preferred
- Willingness to travel
