**Job Requirements:** We are seeking an experienced HVAC/R technician to join our team at MBL Facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in air conditioning and refrigeration systems, as well as excellent technical skills and communication abilities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair air conditioning and refrigeration equipment, including electrical and mechanical controls.
- Service research support refrigeration equipment such as centrifuges, ice machines, and domestic refrigerators.
- Capture and store used refrigerants for future use, ensuring compliance with current standards.
- Maintain accurate records for MBL equipment, including data entry and service management.
- Manage inventory of materials and supplies; order parts as needed.
- Collaborate with Plant Operations and Maintenance staff to address mechanical needs.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and retrieval from established programs.
- Knowledge of Building Automation Systems (BAS), equipment controllers, thermostats, VFD drives, and other HVAC equipment.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong team player with ability to work independently when needed.
- Strong technical reading and writing skills.
