We are seeking an experienced Global Benefits Management Contractor to oversee the administration of US benefits programs within our organization. This role will focus on the management of healthcare, retirement, and wellness benefits, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations (ERISA, ACA, COBRA), and handling vendor relationships. The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to support the development and execution of the benefits strategy, conduct benchmarking, manage employee inquiries, and provide ongoing data analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Global Benefits Administration: Oversee the administration of global benefits programs, with a primary focus on US benefits, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with corporate objectives.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party benefits vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring service delivery meets performance expectations.
- Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including ERISA, ACA, COBRA, and other applicable benefits-related laws across global regions.
- Benefits Strategy Development: Collaborate with leadership to support the development and implementation of a comprehensive benefits strategy that aligns with organizational goals and employee needs.
- Benchmarking & Market Analysis: Conduct benchmarking and analysis of global benefits offerings to ensure competitiveness and market alignment.
- Employee Inquiries: Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to benefits, providing clear and accurate information in a timely manner.
- Reporting & Analytics: Provide regular reports and data analysis on benefits utilization, costs, and other key performance metrics, offering strategic insights to improve program effectiveness.
- Policy Implementation: Assist in the development and implementation of new benefits policies and ensure proper execution across regions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in global benefits administration, with at least 3 years of expertise in managing US benefits programs (healthcare, retirement, wellness).
- Compliance Knowledge: Strong knowledge of benefits regulations, particularly ERISA, ACA, COBRA, and relevant global compliance standards.
- Vendor Management: Proven experience in managing vendor relationships, including contract negotiation, performance monitoring, and service delivery.
- Analytical Skills: Expertise in data analysis, benchmarking, and utilizing analytics to drive improvements in benefits programs.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal stakeholders, vendors, and employees.
- Project Management: Experience managing benefits-related projects from start to finish, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with HR systems such as SuccessFactors and ADP is a plus.
- Certifications: CEBS (Certified Employee Benefits Specialist) or CBP (Certified Benefits Professional) certification is preferred.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Benefits-related certifications (CEBS, CBP) are a plus.
