MBS is in urgent need of a Procurement Manager in Schaumburg, IL. This position is a full-time, temp to hire opportunity.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and evaluate potential supplier sources.
- Screen suppliers to ensure they meet company standards and requirements.
- Negotiate favorable payment terms and contracts with suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement needs and requirements.
- Manage procurement processes and ensure timely delivery of goods and products.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Prepare and present procurement reports to senior management.
