Position Overview: The Learning Management System Administrator (LMS) Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the Learning Management System (LMS) to support company-wide training and development initiatives. This role ensures the effective operation of the LMS, oversees system functionality, provides technical support, and tracks learning data to support compliance and reporting. The LMS Administrator collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of training content and maintains accurate training records.
- Administer, configure, and maintain the LMS, ensuring optimal system functionality and user accessibility.
- Manage user access, roles, and permissions within the LMS.
- Upload and organize training content, ensuring alignment with company training initiatives.
- Track, monitor, and generate reports on training completion, compliance, and learning analytics.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for employees, managers, and trainers related to the LMS.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with company policies and regulatory training requirements.
- Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to test and launch training programs within the LMS.
- Maintain accurate training records and certifications for employees across all departments.
- Oversee LMS integrations with other business systems (e.g., HRIS, performance management).
- Troubleshoot system errors, user issues, and technical challenges, coordinating with vendors when needed.
- Manage training assignments, deadlines, and learning paths based on business needs.
- Support project and program management efforts by prioritizing LMS-related tasks and ensuring training initiatives are successfully implemented.
- Stay current with LMS trends, best practices, and emerging learning technologies to improve system effectiveness
- Coordinate and manage new hire onboarding schedules, including creating agendas, scheduling training sessions, and arranging necessary meetings for the first week of employment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Education, Business Administration, Project/Program Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in LMS administration, instructional technology, or corporate training.
- Experience with Docebo (preferred) or other LMS platforms.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and data reporting.
- Knowledge of SCORM, xAPI, and LMS data management best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to track, interpret, and present learning metrics.
- Experience in project/program management to coordinate multiple training initiatives and priorities.
- Technical support and troubleshooting experience is a plus.
