DESCRIPTION:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, labeling and storing incoming shipments, assessing stock for damages, keeping an accurate record of inventory and accurately filling customer orders. This individual is a hard-working, organized and detailed oriented individual.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive, process, label and store incoming stocks
- Maintain clear records of all inventory and stocks
- Inspect all stock for damages and keep records of damaged products
- Counting stocks, keeping inventory records and prepare order for shipment
- Ensure the safe clean and efficient operation of the warehouse while adhering to all OSHA, DOT, HAZMAT and other required regulations and guidelines
- Organize the warehouse space and operate stock management tools; for example, pallet jack, RF Scanner and forklift lift when necessary.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

- Working knowledge of warehouse and mechanical equipment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- 1-2 years’ experience in logistics, warehouse, distribution or related field
- High School Diploma required
- Previous experience using RF scanner or other warehouse equipment
- Ability to become certified to operate a forklift
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and data entry skills
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Job operates mainly indoors but exposed to generally consistent conditions, such as regulated air conditioning and heating. This job also works near a machinery showroom, which may generate some noises such as objects hitting the floor and creating a sound, forklift movement and occasional other short term noises.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This job requires very frequent bending at the waist, twisting of the upper body, standing, speaking and hearing and frequent kneeling. Repetitive use of the hands, squeezing, keyboarding and crouching. Requires frequent lifting and carrying of 1-10 pounds, recurrent lifting of 11-20 pounds and occasional lifting and carrying of 21-50 or more pounds. Also requires constant pushing and pulling of 1-50 pounds and infrequent pushing and pulling of over 50 pounds with the aid of handcarts or other wheeled devices. Good visual and color acuity are a must to perform this type of job.
