Position: Appliance Service Technician Support For Residential and Commercial Appliances (Not IT)
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Wood Dale, Illinois (On-Site, Local Candidates Only)
Job Summary:
To provide technical support to end users, service technicians, and internal customer support associates on our line of residential and commercial appliances. Those appliances include refrigeration, laundry, cooking and dishwashing products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling all forms of communication with end-users and service technicians needing assistance in troubleshooting and repair of Magic Chef, Magic Chef Commercial, and Norpole branded products
- Supporting internal customer support staff in the troubleshooting and repair of Magic Chef, Magic Chef Commercial, and Norpole branded products
- Developing and implementing product training materials and seminars for internal staff and service technicians
- Assist in recruiting service centers for both our residential and commercial products
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Experience servicing residential and or commercial appliances, including refrigeration, laundry, cooking, and dishwashers
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- The ability to provide training and guidance to both service technicians and customer support representatives
- The ability to make sound business decisions based on the circumstances presented
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple issues throughout the day
- Good computer and typing skills
