What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Accountant/Production Control Assistant position at McAllister Tool and Machine?
- To assist the function of the office, providing continuous support to the staff with HR accounting and Production coordinator assistant duties.
- Answer the phone and take messages for staff when needed.
- Check mail and distribute it to appropriate personnel.
- Performing other administrative tasks when required.
- Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information
- Perform bookkeeping duties
- Ensure that all employees submit their time sheets promptly and accurately
- Maintain all employee records regarding payroll, such as PTO and vacation requests, overtime, taxes, and other modifications to salaries
- Work with benefits carriers to administer benefits to applicable employees
- Process bi-monthly or weekly payroll payments using payroll software
- Review and reconcile financial reports to ensure they are accurate in a monthly or quarterly manner.
- Maintain and update personnel records regularly
- Prepare financial statements, such as balance sheets, ledgers and cash flows, to report to senior management
- Issue purchase orders
- Receive products within the MRP/Accounting software
- Send invoices to customers
- Process payables and receivables
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
