Job Summary – Commercial Dishwasher
Function:
Provide Kitchen workers with clean and sanitized utensils, plate ware, glassware, pots, pans and equipment
Duties and Responsibilities:
Cleans and sanitizes utensils, plate ware, glassware and equipment according to department guidelines.- Operates and maintains all cleaning and washing equipment at proper temperature and proper operating order.
- Properly dries and stores all utensils, plate ware, glassware, pots, pans and equipment.
- Maintains a clean floor in the dishwashing room.
- Adheres to safe handling procedures for all cleaning compounds.
- Disposes of garbage in proper waste containers.
- Assists in some food and/or tray preparation as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by kitchen Manger
Physical Demands:
Stand on feet, bend forward, stoop or walk for the majority of the time on duty
Lift up to 50 pounds of product
