McCain Foods is accepting applications for a Prime Packaging Champion position, to work a 12-hour night shift at the Burley, Idaho plant. Coordinates employees in the packaging department while carrying out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include operating equipment on the Prime Packaging lines, coordinating operation of Prime Packaging Lines as needed in Supervisors absence and training Prime Packaging Line personnel to be certified operators. Responsible for minor mechanical preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of packaging equipment
Accountabilities :
- Plans and carry out work assignments as directed by Production or Maintenance Management.
- Works without supervision to carry out production or preventative maintenance work.
- Works downtimes and may have to work off shifts to accomplish work and meet deadlines.
- Facilitates safety meetings when necessary while being an ambassador for safety.
- Train and certify operators in the packaging area
- Communicates with Packaging and Processing Supervisors to ensure decisions are made in a timely and cost effective manner.
- Communicates with Packaging QA and make adjustments to maintain quality standards .

Shift Differential Pay : $1.50 / hr.
