McCall’s Meat & Fish Company is looking for a FOH employee for our shop in Santa Monica! Our beloved neighborhood market has been serving the east side for over 10 years and we’re super excited to bring our first-rate foods and exceptional service to the west side. McCall’s specializes in fine meats and seafood, but we also offer a wide variety of specialty products such as wine and beer, fresh pastas, imported cheeses, and locally-sourced produce from the farmers market. We are looking for people who love food and want to join our expanding team on Montana Ave.
Skills/Requirements
- Customer Service
- Food and beverage knowledge (knowledge in proteins is a must)
- Able to work full time
- Able to work well under pressure
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- must have California food handler card or ServSafe certificate

Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly demeanor.
- Operate the POS system efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
- Prepare food items according to safety and sanitation standards, including proper food handling techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the shop.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.
- Provide accurate and helpful information regarding cooking methods and product information to guests
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
