Duties & Responsibilities:
- Repairs vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards.
- Prepares vehicles for body repair work.
- Able to perform all aspects of collision repair including structural, body, sheet metal, welding, etc.
- Able to perform mechanical repairs such as cooling systems, A/C systems, suspension, exhaust systems, etc.
- Able to perform all tasks required in a timely and professional manner.
- Notifies management of any additional repairs needed.
- Notifies management of any difficulties or problems that may prevent a quality job from being performed or cause a change in the promised time.
- Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including respirator, as recommended by the equipment manufacturer.
- Cooperates and assists other personnel in the repair and prepping of vehicles.
- Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
- Willing to attend all mandatory training as required by management.
- Maintains facilities and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and safety.
- Maintains a professional appearance.
- Performs other tasks as required by management.
- Focus on Quality and Service.
- Strives for harmony and teamwork within the department and with all other departments.
- Maintains awareness of safety and follows workplace safety requirement
Job Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate one on one effectively
- Basic Computer skills.
- Good Organizational Skills
- Valid Driver's License
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Three to five years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of both.
- I-CAR certifications recommended but not required.
