Job Description
The SVP Director is a leadership role overall within SOLVE(D) and for clients. The SVP Director may oversee multiple businesses or accounts within a group and is responsible for demonstrating a strong working knowledge of all media channels, and most especially digital channels which fuel data-driven marketing. The SVP Director is ultimately responsible for identifying and leading opportunities to enhance holistic integration across disciplines and capabilities, and to drive growth of the overall Solve(d) business.
The SVP Director must skilled in driving both strategy and integration in order to deliver an end to end marketing (not just media) perspective for the clients' business. This person is responsible for identifying business opportunities and be able to sell through innovative solutions to grow client business and increase agency revenue.
This person should also be able to work with all groups within IPG or MediaBrands to effectively deliver integrated services, in addition to SOLVE(D) media offerings and capabilities.
The SVP Director is ultimately accountable for the entire team, driving a culture where team members are supported and have access to development opportunities, and ensuring that overall scope is managed efficiently and effectively. The SVP Director is also responsible for the successful management of the account, ensuring accuracy, development and adherence to timeliness and overall quality of work product and talent.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Client Management
- Maintain knowledge about the industry and brand / client - product benefits, efficacy, MOA, industry challenges, competitive landscape, client processes and client corporate culture. Place clients on the leading edge of media evolution and innovation. Maintain on-going contact with senior clients, lending credibility and endorsement to major presentations and projects. Possesses the ability to understand varying clients' communication styles and adjusts account management approach accordingly. The SVP Director will strive to nurture true partnership with senior clients and position themselves as a valued business (not just media) partner, and Solve(d) as an extension of the client team.
