The Role:
We are looking for a stellar Strategist to join our team here in Miami. The Associate Strategist works closely with the Regional Chief Strategy Officer to support agency-wide strategic initiatives through intelligence gathering, researching design analysis, and finding strategic support materials. They also work closely with the other disciplines in delivering and exceeding client expectations.

This Associate Strategist will be a critical member of the McCann Worldgroup Strategic Leadership Community (SLC). What You Will Do:
The Strategist for McCann Worldgroup will be required to:
- Use, understand, and execute various research methodologies to uncover key marketing opportunities.
- Partner with other departments to develop best-in-class research and strategy skills by supplying real consumer insights and data.
- Build and facilitate relationships with internal groups of McCann Worldgroup to better understand critical roles and functions within a creative agency.
- Positively impact the creative product through sharp insights and inspiration.
- Source and identify daily consumer news and trends to share with the Agency.
- Any tasks as assigned.
Who You Will Be:
To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrable previous relevant experiences and skills with the following:
Key Skills:
- Market Research - Formulate a clear hypothesis and recommend methods based on both formal and informal research.
- Ideation - Visualize creative thinking to transform an idea or concept into a coherent output.
- Competitive Analysis - Identify interesting patterns from diverse sources to create added value.
- Presentation Development - Contribute and deliver incremental value to a presentation for a client.
- Strategic Planning - Plan for emerging problems with strategic solutions focused on creativity.
- Strategic Partnership - Build a detailed profile of your client that is inclusive of any potential challenges to their business.
Language: Must be fully bilingual (English and Spanish). Flawless written English is a priority.
Physical presence in office: The position requires physical presence in the office 1-2 a week and might require travel, no more than once per quarter, 2-3 days each time.
Other Characteristics of an MW Strategist:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
- 0 – 2 years of related experience (including related internship experience).
- Strong communication skills.
- Working knowledge of research and marketing basics.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to navigate high volume.
- A hunter of opportunities for creativity and an ability to spark it.
- Strong organizational skills – leadership, management, process.
- Intelligent and intellectually curious.
- A strong work ethic.
- Energetic.
