Your Role:
McCann Content Studios is a department within McCann New York responsible for the development, ideation, and execution of social-focused brand campaigns. The McCann Content Studio is defined by hybrid skillsets and driven by modern online culture, and you’ll be working on a wide variety of projects for some of the best loved brands in the U.S. across multiple consumer categories.
We're seeking a collaborative Social Media Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing relationships and ensuring their social media needs are met. This role combines business leadership, account management, and social media strategy to act as a partner to clients in creating social content that resonates across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and more. You will be expected to partner with internal Creative Leads both inside of McCann Content Studios as well as the larger McCann agency, as well as client teams across disciplines to service the range of needs to support the development of video and digital content for brands. McCann New York team members must reside in or be willing to relocate to the New York Tristate area unless otherwise agreed upon by their manager and McCann New York’s Human Resources team. McCann New York is a hybrid workplace with three days in-office per week.
Salary Range:
The salary for this position is $95,000-$115,000. Salary ranges depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; the associated discipline market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.

What You Do:
Daily Operations & Strategy:
- Work as a trusted social media consultant to your client to build a relationship of trusted expertise
- Manages end-to-end social media campaigns across medium-sized accounts, from initial concept through execution and optimization across platforms
- Coordinates with creative teams on platform-specific content requirements, including aspect ratios, video lengths, and caption character limits
- Analyze social media metrics across platforms to identify content performance patterns and optimization opportunities
- Presents monthly performance reports highlighting key metrics (engagement rates, reach, video completion rates) and platform-specific insights
- Manages client feedback on content, ensuring revisions align with platform best practices while meeting brand objectives
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies across various platforms to enhance brand presence and engagement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social and digital media.
- Proactively look for ways to optimize deliver of services to your client/s and create better creative work
- 3-5 years experience in social media marketing
- Experience managing $250K social media budgets
- Track record of running day-to-day social campaigns
- History of client-facing presentations and reporting
- Experience with content calendar management
