McCarthy Bush Corporation is currently seeking an Accounting Manager based out of Davenport, Iowa.
As an Accounting Manager, you will play an integral role in providing financial and accounting services to the construction, mining and manufacturing sectors of McCarthy-Bush, while also overseeing and mentoring a team. Responsible for financial statement preparation, general ledger entries, audits, and high-level issue resolution on the accounting team, this role will also have a special focus on leading the team in technical expertise with data analytics and tools to create efficiencies, connections and dashboards. With a focus on the future, candidates for this role should also have supervisory and leadership experience with the ability to lead strategic planning.
What makes you successful in this position?
- You’re currently in an accounting role with at least 5 years’ experience and have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Prior cost accounting experience highly preferred
- You have successfully led a team and want to further your career in a leadership role.
- Adept with data analytics and accounting technologies. Power BI and Advanced Excel experience, including V-Lookups and Pivot Table knowledge, a must. SQL and Crystal Reporting knowledge a plus.
- You have strong integrity, coachability, and the desire to work as part of a cross-functional team.
- All candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
