MCI is looking to hire a full-time Construction Management Intern for Summer 2025 for a project in Dubuque, Iowa.

Applicants who are pursuing any level of college degree or trade program that focuses on construction management, engineering, or other construction trade are encouraged to apply. This will be a full-time role scheduled 32-40 hours per week, with a start date flexibility based on school timelines. Pay is $18-$21/hour (depending on experience), paid on a weekly basis.

What can you expect in this role?

At MCI, we are looking for highly motivated interns to assist our Project Manager with project coordination. This position will be in support of a project in Dubuque, Iowa, and will also require occasional travel to our main office in Davenport, Iowa.

Under the supervision of a Project Manager, responsibilities will include:

• Working onsite in various capacities assisting the PM in day-to-day operations
• Scheduling of various contracts and materials
• Collecting invoices and verifying quantities
• Learning more about the heavy highway industry

• Ability to prioritize work and meet project deadlines
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office products, including Excel; CAD experience a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
