Job Description: The firm is currently seeking a full-time, legal office coordinator, who will be the first point of contact for our clients, playing a vital role in creating a welcoming environment. This position is essential in supporting our administrative functions and enhancing overall client satisfaction. Training will be provided.
Compensation: The compensation package for this position includes a starting hourly rate of $15.00 USD - $18.00 USD per hour, commensurate with experience; discretionary annual bonus based upon both individual and firm performance; generous paid time off policy; subsidized healthcare, vision care, and dental care after probationary period (60 days); employee eligible 401(k) retirement plan with firm matching after first year; opportunity for advancement within firm; and reimbursed business costs.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist clients and visitors in a professional manner.
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence efficiently.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately to maintain up-to-date records.
- Utilize office software for document management and communication.
- Support office management tasks, including scheduling appointments and maintaining files.
- Perform intakes of new client matters, run a conflicts check, and direct each to the appropriate attorney for review and consideration.
- Provide administrative support to team members as required.
- Ensure the front desk area is organized and presentable.
Qualifications
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience as a receptionist is beneficial but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on maintaining an orderly workspace.
