What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2025 Summer Internship position at McClave + Associates?
McClave Associates’ Internship Program provides undergraduate and graduate students with the opportunity to gain valuable work experience in applied statistics, econometrics, and economics. The Intern supports full-time analysts and experts who provide complex statistical, economic, and econometric litigation support for legal actions in areas such as antitrust, class action, breach of contract and healthcare fraud. Interns will be immersed in the full spectrum of MC A work, such as researching case-specific topics, performing data processing tasks, summarizing case files, and assisting with modeling activities and report writing. Interns will receive mentoring by MC A senior leaders, participate in project and team meetings, enjoy a variety of social events, and receive competitive intern compensation. Our Internship Program seeks students who are passionate about data and technology and want to apply their skills to a meaningful cause and make an impact.
Minimum Qualifications
● Must be a current undergraduate (or graduate) student majoring in statistics, economics, mathematics, decision information systems or related field.
● GPA of 3.5 or higher.
● Ability to work with mathematical, economic, and/or econometric concepts and apply them to
practical situations.
● Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Preferred Technical Skills
● Some programming experience is preferred; Working knowledge of SAS or Stata is a plus.
● Experience with Microsoft Office software.
● Experience in research and database management obtained through past positions or class projects.
