As “FRIENDS OF THE WATER”, McCloud Aquatics (family owned and operated) provides lake and pond management solutions to a variety of fresh water bodies throughout the Chicago-land area. From private ponds to large water bodies greater than 75 acres, our goal is to safely care for one of our greatest natural resources, the water. McCloud Aquatics is determined to provide the best solution for our customers water ways through strategic planning and continuous education. Our goal is to provide lake and pond management services to assist in keeping the water healthy.
Looking to hire for southern area and northern area. Elburn is our home office, but you would operate in your respective area. Looking to hire someone in the Joliet, Plainfield, Barrington, Aurora, Oswego, North Shore area.
McCloud Aquatics is an environmental science company that provides aquatic lake and pond services to homeowners and businesses per contract, as assigned. Takes advantage of opportunities to sell additional company products and services to existing customers, develops and maintains positive and professional relationships with customers. Is proactive in solving customer problems and concerns. Introduces self and company to new business in assigned territory. Performs aquatic services in accordance with EPA guidelines/regulations, company policies, company procedures and within state, federal and product label requirements.
Maintains company vehicle, boat, trailer and all issued equipment within company standards and/or as directed. Service work is completed as directed in an efficient, timely manner and is documented per company policy and procedures, follows all label directions and state, federal laws while performing job. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:
- At least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- U.S. citizen or alien authorized to work in the United States.
- Free of Illegal Drug use.
- Accomplished swimmer.
- Able to work before 8 AM, after 5 PM, and/or on weekends.
- Intermediate skill level on computers.
- Ability to operate a variety of mechanical equipment Proficient internet skills.
- Ability to operate various software’s programs.
- Valid motor vehicle operator’s license.
- No more than 1 speeding tickets in last three years.
- No citations for driving while under the influence within last three years. Read, speak, and comprehend English.
Training/Certification
- Obtains and maintains state issued General Standard licensing.
- Obtains and maintains certification(s) in all areas required to perform work.
- Attends all company training sessions.
