Job Summary
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Lead to support the testing and validation of system modifications. The role involves developing and executing test plans to ensure high-quality software applications, particularly in alignment with a major statewide financial system transition.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute formal test plans for new and existing functionality.
- Conduct regression, functional, data validation, system integration, load, and performance tests.
- Define and track quality assurance metrics, including defects and test results.
- Work closely with development teams to design and integrate testing strategies.
- Plan, create, execute, and automate test cases.
- Document and analyze test results, recommending corrective actions.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and defect tracking.
- Research and implement new testing technologies and best practices.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- (OR) Two (2) years of experience can substitute for a degree.
- Experience:
- 3-5 years in Software Quality Assurance.
- Experience in a DevOps environment (preferred).
- Experience testing ETL jobs (Informatica) (preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience developing and executing test cases.
- Minimum 3 years of leadership, supervisory, or team management experience.
- 2-3 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture.
- 2-3 years of experience in IT within a government agency (preferred).
- Knowledge of Informatica IICS Cloud Data Integration tools and Snowflake (preferred).

- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, IT infrastructure, and software testing tools.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
