Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Staffing Associate to join our team and support the recruitment and hiring of non-certificated personnel. The ideal candidate will assist in screening, processing, and recruiting applicants while ensuring an efficient and organized workflow within the HR office. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with hiring managers, applicants, and administrative teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist HR Supervisors/Analysts with screening, recruiting, and processing candidates.
- Coordinate workflows and collaborate with team members to improve administrative processes.
- Serve as a liaison to applicants, employees, administrators, and hiring managers regarding vacancies and recruitment processes.
- Schedule interviews and facilitate the interview process at both on-site and off-site locations.
- Prepare and distribute vacancy announcements for non-certificated positions.
- Maintain and update candidate pools to ensure accurate and timely communication with hiring managers.
- Support recruitment events, including scheduling, logistics, and communication with candidates and partner organizations.
- Manage HR systems, including Applicant Tracking and Onboarding, resolving any issues that arise.
- Assist with staffing initiatives such as priority transfers and the declaration of intent process.
- Provide administrative support for presentations, meetings, and training sessions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree from an accredited college.
- At least five (5) years of progressively responsible administrative experience.
- Experience in human resources or staffing-related functions preferred.
- Knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance regulations preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to multitask.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment:
- Office-based with occasional travel throughout Baltimore County, MD, to various schools, offices, and facilities.
- Sedentary work with occasional use of office equipment and minimal physical activity.
Five (5) days in-office; 7.5 hours a day; 37.5 hours a week;
Work hours: 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.;
