The responsibilities of the Quality Control Technician (QCT) are as follows:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures to ensure compliance with contract requirements
- Conduct regular inspections, audits, and evaluations of contract performance, identifying areas for improvement
- Prepare and submit detailed monthly quality control reports to government stakeholders
- Collaborate with project management and operations teams to resolve performance issues and enhance service delivery
- Monitor adherence to contract terms, safety protocols, and federal policies
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, corrective actions, and compliance-related activities
- Provide recommendations for process improvements to optimize efficiency and effectiveness
- Ensure all personnel are trained in quality assurance and contract compliance standards
- Bachelor's degree in quality management, business administration, or a related field (preferred)
- Prior experience at FLETC Artesia, or another FLETC location is highly desired
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in quality control or lead technician role, utilizing formal quality control systems
- Must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English to effectively communicate findings and recommendations
- Ensure full compliance of contract's Quality Control PlanStrong knowledge of federal contract compliance and performance standards
- Experience with data collection, analysis, and reporting related to quality control processes
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and government stakeholders
