The responsibilities of the Training/Technical Assistance (T/TA) Specialist are as follows:
- Design, implement, and evaluate T/TA programs for frontline professionals in social services, healthcare, behavioral health, and public health
- Deliver training and capacity-building services to address the needs of vulnerable populations, including survivors of human trafficking
- Facilitate high-level meetings, trainings, and focus groups with diverse stakeholders
- Respond to T/TA requests promptly, providing public-facing customer support
- Develop multidisciplinary approaches integrating social services and public health perspectives
- Provide logistical and content support for virtual and in-person events
- Build community partnerships to promote sustainable anti-trafficking efforts
- Develop and implement marketing and outreach strategies for T/TA services
- Communicate complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
- Analyze challenges, identify solutions, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
The qualified candidate for the Training/Technical Assistance Specialist role must possess the following:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional and/or lived experience in human trafficking
- 7 years of experience in delivering T/TA and designing training programs
- Expertise in capacity building and fostering community partnerships
- Strong verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to evolving priorities
- Experience with marketing, outreach strategies, and multidisciplinary T/TA development
