About the Position:
Our client, an established mid-size Chicago law firm, is actively seeking a lawyer with 2 to 5 years of experience handling commercial litigation and class action matters to join as an associate in Chicago. This firm represents clients in the U.S. and more than 50 countries throughout the world, ranging from Fortune 50 companies to entrepreneurs and individuals.

Responsibilities:
· Work on all aspects of litigation, from pre-trial discovery through trial
· Draft substantive motions, pleadings, and briefs, take and defend depositions, and appear in court
Required Qualifications:
· 2 to 5 years of experience with commercial litigation and class action defense
· Strong writing and research skills
· Ability to manage cases with minimal supervision

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $135,000 - $155,000.
