About the Position:
We are working with a personal injury firm in Chicago that is seeking a paralegal with 5 years of experience to join its office. This firm has achieved many notable victories for its clients and the person in this position will assist attorneys with managing multiple cases.
Highlights:
· Small, cohesive team of attorneys
· Hybrid (3 days remote, 2 days in-office)
Responsibilities:
· Assist attorneys with managing and organizing litigation cases from inception through trial
· Set depositions
· Conduct legal research
· Answer written discovery
· Draft, proofread, and edit legal documents such as complaints, motions, and briefs
Required Qualifications:
· 5 or more years of experience as a paralegal/legal assistant working on personal injury cases
· Experience with filing in Odyssey
· Strong familiarity with the Daley Center, 1st district municipality and law division
· Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
· Organizational, document management, and communication skills
Location:
Chicago, IL (Hybrid)
Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $85,000.
