We are seeking an experienced Controller to join our company based in Murfreesboro, TN. The controller will play a key role in managing the financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Controller will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
- Supporting annual budget processing and review of financial results
- Identifying, understanding and resolving tax-related issues
- Owning and documenting policies and procedures related to business accounting
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency
- Processing external audit reports
- Ensuring external reporting is completed in an accurate and timely manner
- Assisting in the development of internal organization and consolidation
- Managing and supervising the internal activities of finance department
- Mentoring staff to demonstrate proper practices and processes are incorporated
Requirements:
· Minimum 5 years finance experience
· Minimum 1year financial management experience
- Experience with transportation and/or property accounting a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA, preferred
- Highly deadline-focused and detail-oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Salary:
Controller Salary: Dependent upon experience
