Primary Purpose
The Technology Solutions Analyst develops a deep understanding of technology problems and provides solutions for all business units within the company. The role requires collaboration with internal stakeholders, outside vendors, and the technology team on projects for technology systems and applications with a primary focus on optimizing business processes supported by the technology department in all phases of the project lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will have broad experience with business technology solutions / applications, and specific experience with one or more of the following :
Smartsheet
Dynamics SL
Acumatica ERP
Power BI or similar BI / Analytics tools
Qualifications Education / Certification :
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, MIS or a closely related field
Work experience and industry certifications accepted in lieu of degree
Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record and available transportation during entire workday to travel between offices
Special Knowledge / Skills / Abilities :
Direct experience with Smartsheet including higher level skills (formulas, pivots, reports / dashboards, API) a plus
Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics SL and / or Acumatica a plus
Knowledge of SaaS platforms, including ERP, CRM, HRM, project management, collaboration, and other resource management platforms
Knowledge of ETL and data integration tools
Knowledge of SQL
Knowledge of Business Intelligence and analytics, concepts, and tools
Skill in developing project plans and managing projects at scale
Skill in integrating systems across cloud platforms and SaaS solutions
Skill industry-leading enterprise-enterprise grade technologies including cloud services, databases, web applications, and applicable SaaS tools
Skill with utilizing programming languages and scripting
Skill in always providing users with outstanding customer care and service
Skill in working in an enterprise ticketing system
Ability to think critically in detecting, analyzing, and resolving technology-related problems
Ability to maintain the confidentiality of privileged and sensitive information
Ability to adapt to rapidly evolving technology and environment
Ability to perform duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness, and work with minimum supervision
Ability to comprehend complex systems and technical information and explain effectively to a wide variety of stakeholders.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and written utilizing tact and diplomacy and maintain effective working relationships with company personnel.
Willing and able to learn existing technology environment
Experience :
1-5 years of experience in a similar or related role.
Major Responsibilities and Duties
Create and maintain technical documentation on current processes and implemented solutions
Research and document company processes with the goal of determining software to meet specific needs of the various business units and company.
Design, configure, implement, and support technologies that meet business needs.
Provide strategic recommendations for company process improvements.
Develop, maintain, and report changes on scope and schedules for all projects to stakeholders.
Develop a detailed assessment of project and software needs and help remove team obstacles.
Provide input on Technology Steering Committee projects including objectives, scope, approach, estimates, and deliverables.
Define technical evaluation criteria for product and technology selection and determine technical approaches to ensure solutions result in coherent systems design.
Participate in regular technology meetings and provide status updates.
Utilize ticketing system to track support requests and document corrective actions.
Assign or re-assign support requests to the appropriate department when applicable.
Assist in testing new systems and upgrades of software packages
Develop appropriate documentation and knowledge base articles
Convert technology concepts and proposed upgrades into reality in an expeditious manner.

Requires handling equipment weighing up to 50 pounds while pushing, pulling, lifting, twisting, and reaching while lifting
Operates a company vehicle when necessary
Frequently use hands and bends wrists, neck, back, and arms
Occasional prolonged and irregular work hours – flexibility with schedule preferred
Extended hours or non-business hours may be required due to system upgrades, system failures, system maintenance as to not interfere or lessen impact with company operations
