McCoy Construction & Forestry, a John Deere dealership group with 25 locations across the Midwest and East South Central Regions, has an opening for a Inside Sale Representative.
Inside Sales Representative is responsible for the sale, rental, or leasing of all new and used John Deere and “all-makes” equipment, parts, and service and for meeting customer’s needs and growing market share, while maintaining acceptable levels of gross profit and attaining sales unit targets.
Handles entire inside sales process from proposal to close; reach or exceed sales quotas. Sell the organization's products and/or services to established customers or new prospects via the telephone or walk-in business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (not in order of priority):
- Assists in pricing equipment for territory managers
- Maintains records of equipment and attachment inventory. The following documentation needs to be performed as indicated - Ensures rentals are posted daily, Writes down posted daily, Computer information updated immediately
- Overall responsibility for all whole goods inventory and attachments for that location
- Makes appropriate value adjustments from demos and loaners
- Coordinates any service prep work for whole goods sales (excluding used equipment)
- Assists walk-in customers with equipment issues
- Supports territory managers with customer or equipment issues
- Directs the rental program to include: Proper equipment to rent, Proper paperwork is to be completed thoroughly and accurate by customer and store personnel.
- Assists General Managers in collecting open accounts
- Under the direction of the General Manager or Regional Sales Manager, coordinates Territory Mangers sale of equipment or accessories
- Interprets and implements company policies and develops operating procedures to facilitate store operations
- Insures cash deposits are made daily
- Insures the store presents a good image to customers and guests
- Insures proper maintenance of the building and grounds regarding appearance, fire and safety protection, etc
Education, Skills & Knowledge Required:
- A high school diploma is required, but a college degree is preferred
- Expertise in both Mac and PC operating systems
- Familiar with basic troubleshooting procedures
- To perform this job successfully
