About the Company
Mccoy Construction & Forestry, a John Deere dealership group with 25 locations across the Midwest and East South Central Regions, has an opening for a Product Support Sales Representative.
About the Role
Using technology as an active tool, provide proactive customer uptime support and subsequent growth for McCoy Construction and Forestry (MCF).
Achieves MCF's customer support and satisfaction goals, parts and service marketing and management capability in a specific geographic area of responsibility.
Manages the product support process to preempt and resolve technical and/or parts issues impacting machine performance and uptime by developing customer relationship.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide proactive customer uptime support and subsequent growth for McCoy Construction and Forestry (MCF)
- Achieve MCF's customer support and satisfaction goals, parts and service marketing and management capability in a specific geographic area of responsibility
- Manage the product support process to preempt and resolve technical and/or parts issues impacting machine performance and uptime by developing customer relationship
Sales and Marketing
- Make field-related purpose-built customer calls to follow up on Product Support opportunities generated through telematics and available prospecting data
- Provide leads for Parts and Service Department follow-up when appropriate
- Strategically focus on incremental revenue opportunities that support both parts and service strategic fiscal objectives
Customer Support
- Utilize McCoy's customer relationship management (CRM) tool by detailing all meaningful customer interactions, as well as uploading related documents
- Provide customer training on Operation Center and related applications for new John Deere and other applicable equipment
- Follow up with customers to highlight key equipment performance measures on a scheduled basis
Technical Expertise
- Minimum of 5 years related Equipment experience and/or training; Demonstrated sales and marketing skill
- Expert understanding of the principles, can apply the information to complex situations, solve complex problems, conduct research/break new ground, develop new applications, and provide expert support for other practitioners
Travel Requirements
Ability to travel up to 60% of the time with some overnight stays included
