We are seeking an Engineering Technician to support activities related to product development and lifecycle management. This position will aid the Manufacturing, Service, and Sales departments by creating supporting documentation, and providing timely solutions under the guidance of their supervisor.
What you’ll bring:
- Minimum 2 years’ Technical Degree or equivalent
- Minimum 1-year experience in component design
- Recent graduate considered based on course work
- Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and PDM preferred, alternative similar products considered
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) preferred
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and Lean, Rapid & Profitable new product development principles would be an asset
- Strong technical aptitude
- Strong Microsoft office skills.
What you’ll do:

Create and Update Technical Documentation, including, but not limited to:
- Detail drawings of new parts and assemblies
- Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Product Manuals
- Product Bulletins
- Instructions and Guides
- Log and distribute Request for Engineering Action (REA’s) and Engineering Change Notices (ECN’s)
- Interface between Manufacturing and Engineering departments
- Assist in assembly and testing for prototype equipment and major changes, when necessary
- Answer Sales questions regarding legacy products.
- Other duties as assigned.
