Job Description

Job Title : Manufacturing Engineering Technician (Process Technician)

Location : New Iberia, LA 70560

Shifts : Day Shift (6 : 00am 6 : 00pm) or Night Shift (6 : 00pm 6 : 00am) with 10% shift differential

Schedule : Week 1 - Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun; Week 2 - Wed, Thurs

Wage : $23.00 - $29.00 / hour

Job Summary :

Assist in the installation, troubleshooting, and daily maintenance of manufacturing equipment. Ensure smooth operations through process improvements, troubleshooting, and implementing quality controls in a climate-controlled solar manufacturing facility. Includes travel for initial training.

Education and Experience :

High School diploma or equivalent required
Technical degree or 2 years of experience in manufacturing, mechanics, or related field

Key Skills :

Safety-first mindset

Electrical / electronic and mechanical knowledge

Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Manufacturing experience preferred

Responsibilities :

Address production and equipment issues

Implement yield and product performance improvements

Maintain SPC process controls

Train production associates

Adhere to safety and housekeeping standards

Note : Travel required for training in Alabama prior to April 2024. Candidates must pass a background check, drug screen, and physical.

Salary : $23 - $29
