Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of personal injury law and be proficient in legal case management. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, experience with Connecticut's e-filing system and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Duties

• Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather necessary information for cases
• Draft complaints for attorney review
• Conduct client meetings to draft discovery responses under attorney supervision
• E-file documents through the Connecticut Judicial Branch E-Services system
• Manage legal case files and maintain organized records of all documents related to personal injury cases
• Provide executive administrative support to attorneys as needed
• Utilize project management skills to track deadlines and manage case timelines effectively

Requirements

• 2 years handling personal injury litigation in CT
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology as it pertains to traumatic injury
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
• Proficiency in legal case management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent proofreading skills with keen attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
• Strong clerical skills including filing, document management, and record keeping
• A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
