Job Summary:
The Accounts Receivable Analyst I will perform clerical, administrative, and accounting duties while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures for the professional customer in McCoy’s stores and ensures that questions, problems, and issues are resolved as quickly as possible.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Reconciles invoices accurately and reviews statement problems with customers; to include pricing issues, tax refunds, account set-up, credit memos and return confirmations.
- Maintains work ques in Get Paid daily.
- Oversees store administrator’s work ques/disbursements daily.
- Processes and reconciles daily corporate deposits of checks and wire payments.
- Provides invoice copies to customers, stores, and headquarters departments.
- Assists with mailing monthly billing and contacts customers for remittance advice.
- Aids store managers or commercial sales representatives with customer mailings, blitz advertising campaigns, and other related “target customer” activities.
- Ensures that invoices are mailed and/or emailed to all customers no less than once per week through third party billing, for assigned store group.
- Maintains up-to-date, accurate and complete files on customers and general files as required for commercial sales reports and correspondence.
- Maintains electronic filing within Content Manager, ensuring a copy of all adjustments to accounts made in Mac21 within of adjustment are saved.
- Submits payments of all monies to be processed through Kofax/Content Manager or/and the register to the appropriate accounts daily.
- May occasionally provide training to store and/or corporate personnel on A/R functionalities.
- Assists of accounts receivable analysts as needed.
- Attends team meetings and company training sessions as required.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must have a current driver’s license and auto liability insurance.
- This position requires occasional travel with overnight stays.
Education/Experience
High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Cashier and/or cash register experience is preferred.
- Experience with content management solutions such as IBM Content Manager™ is a preferred.
- Knowledge of accounting software and other third-party software applications.
- Office clerk, bookkeeping, and/or collection experience is required.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 10 pounds at times.
- Standard office hours apply with occasional weekends and holidays.
