Job Overview
We are seeking a Yard Crewmember to assist customers, operate equipment, and maintain our lumberyard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Operate a forklift and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Stock and manage building materials in the yard and warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Perform routine safety checks and adhere to company guidelines.
- Cut lumber and other materials as requested by customers.
- Attend training sessions and meetings as required.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Forklift operator certification is required.
- Prolonged standing and movement throughout the day.
- Lifting up to 80 pounds and occasional lifting/moving of heavier loads.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
Work Environment:
The Yard Crewmember will work in a fast-paced lumberyard environment, interacting with customers and team members daily. Regular overtime, night shifts, weekends, and holidays may be required.
