What are the responsibilities and job description for the Civil Design Engineer position at McCrone | Hartwell?
McCrone has an opening for a civil engineer with 3-5 years of land development design experience to join our team. We are seeking a motivated self-starter to work on a variety of projects in the commercial, residential, and institutional sector primarily located in Maryland with some work in the surrounding Mid-Atlantic states.
Responsibilities:
- All facets of civil site design including site layout, land grading, stormwater management, roadway, utilities, and sediment and erosion control
- Client and consultant interaction while working on projects.
- Assisting with permit processing and submittals with local and state agencies.
Education and Skills:
- Must have an Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university
- Proficiency in AutoCAD® Civil 3D®, HydroCAD, and Maryland Stormwater Management Design
- Engineer in Training (EIT) or Fundamentals in Engineering (FE) license preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills. Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
