Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in file management and/or document control preferred.
- Experience in a calling or insurance claim related
- position.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a proven ability to manage time effectively.
- Demonstrates good character, reliability, and a positive attitude in all aspects of work.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Ability to work independently and proactively, with a commitment to meeting deadlines and achieving goals.
Role and Responsibilities
- Coordinate with estimators to understand and negotiate provided estimates effectively.
- Engage in in-depth discussions with adjusters and supervisors to negotiate favorable resolutions for claims.
- Conduct quality follow-up calls to insurance companies to gather information on claim statuses to ensure timely processing and resolution.
- Maintain file integrity by ensuring accurate documentation and adherenceto company guidelines.
- Manage and oversee associates who perform file activities, providingguidance and support as needed.
- Answer and direct phone calls professionally, providing assistance to callersor redirecting them to the appropriate team member.
- Research and gather data to ensure file completion and maintain accuracy throughout the claims process.
- Keep files organized by verifying all column information is correctly filled and resolving any inconsistencies.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and professional office environment, ensuring the workspace remains tidy andwelcoming.
- Bridge emails into the appropriate files to maintain organized and accessible records.
