Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a calling or insurance claims role. not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a proven ability to manage time effectively.
- Demonstrates good character, reliability, and a positive attitude in all aspects of work.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
Role and Responsibilities
- Answer and direct phone calls professionally, providing assistance to callers or redirecting them to the appropriate team member.
- Conduct quality follow-up calls to insurance companies to gather information on claim statuses.
- Verify receipt of new submissions and follow up on any submitted documentation.
- Coordinate follow-up calls for reviewing documents and confirming their receipt and review.
- Monitor and track depreciation releases to ensure timely processing.
- Research and gather data to ensure file completion and maintain accuracy throughout the claims process.
- Keep files organized by verifying all column information is correctly filled and resolving any inconsistencies.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and professional office environment, ensuring the workspace remains tidy and welcoming.
- Bridge emails into the appropriate files to maintain organized and accessible records.
