Attorney -Bankruptcy

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in bankruptcy and corporate law. The Attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice, representing clients in court, and ensuring compliance with applicable bankruptcy laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Draft legal documents for bankruptcy and corporations, including pleadings, motions, contracts, and agreements.
• Provide guidance on bankruptcy law issues and assist clients.
• Collaborate with other attorneys within the firm to develop case strategies and share expertise.
• Maintain accurate records of case files and client communications within the law office.
• Stay updated on changes in legislation that may affect client cases or the practice of law.

Experience

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Maine bar.
• Proven experience in bankruptcy law or related fields is preferred.
• Experience in corporations is helpful.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret legal documents and statutes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential for effective client representation.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while managing multiple cases efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $69,430.00 - $80,000.00 per year
